Commissioner Rosales Announced Today That A Total Of 428 Tons Of Rubbish And Trash Was Collected From This Past Cleanup Campaign

Maverick County Precinct 3 – Commissioner Jose Luis Rosales, announced today that a total of 428 tons of trash and rubbish were collected in this past cleanup campaign in the areas north of Eagle Pass. The campaign lasted almost 2 weeks and was very successful. The campaign covered the entire precinct which covers the areas of Seco Mines, Siesta Acres, Hopedale, Deer Run, among others. Also included were the communities of Normandy and Quemado, TX. The neighbors cooperated in bringing their debris, branches, wood, mattresses, furniture and items of waste to their sidewalks. Clean-up campaigns are conducted every 8 weeks throughtout precinct 3. Commissioner Rosales commented on the importance of keeping our community clean and repeating this process will eventually lead to a cleaner community for all of our residents.

Great Turnout With Over 80 Participants At The Seco Mines Community Center Loteria Held Last Friday

Maverick County Precinct 3 – The Seco Mines Community Center held a Mexican Loteria last Friday with over 80 participants! Prizes were given which included canned foods, hand soaps, body soaps, laundry detergents, and more. Commissioner Rosales was very pleased with the outcome and participation from the community. The Construction Of The ADA Complaint Ramps Continues At Valeria Park Located In Siesta Acres

Maverick County Precinct 3 – The precinct 3 administration office informed us today that the construction of the ADA compliant handicap ramps continues at Valeria Park located in Siesta Acres Subdivision. Construction workers have begun the construction of these ramps in accordance with the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA). This act was enacted to improve the quality of life for the nation's disabled individuals. By following this important guidelines we can assure the public that all buildings and parks located in Precinct 3 will be accessible and compliant to those who must travel with the aid of mobility devices like wheelchairs. ADA Ramps are a crucial aspect of our precinct infrastructure and will be present at Valeria Park and all of our other parks and buildings in the near future commented commissioner Rosales. The Valeria Park will be ready for the public in a few weeks.
