Commissioner Rosales Announced Today That A Total Of 428 Tons Of Rubbish And Trash Was Collected From This Past Cleanup Campaign

Maverick County Precinct 3 – Commissioner Jose Luis Rosales, announced today that a total of 428 tons of trash and rubbish were collected in this past cleanup campaign in the areas north of Eagle Pass. The campaign lasted almost 2 weeks and was very successful. The campaign covered the entire precinct which covers the areas of Seco Mines, Siesta Acres, Hopedale, Deer Run, among others. Also included were the communities of Normandy and Quemado, TX. The neighbors cooperated in bringing their debris, branches, wood, mattresses, furniture and items of waste to their sidewalks. Clean-up campaigns are conducted every 8 weeks throughtout precinct 3. Commissioner Rosales commented on the importance of keeping our community clean and repeating this process will eventually lead to a cleaner community for all of our residents.
