Hundreds Of Families Benefited From Tender Corn Delivered At The Seco Mines Community Center

Maverick County Precinct 3 - Hundreds of families from Precinct 3 Maverick County have benefited from tender corn that was delivered on Tuesday. Commissioner Jose Luis Rosales, said many families came to receive the food that was delivered in Seco Mines Community Center, north of Eagle Pass. The Commissioner also commented that in the coming weeks more food will be delivered to the county to benefit primarily low-income families.

Precinct 3 Together With The Maverick County Landfill Have Initated A Precinct Wide Cleanup Campaign

Maverick County Precinct 3 - Employees from precinct 3 in conjunction with employees of the landfill started a garbage collection campaign in the precinct. Campaign started North of Maverick County in the Quemado area collecting bulky items. Once the collection truck passes by your home, please do not take out more trash after it has passed. Doing so you will charged a fine and penalty fees from the Code Enforcement Department.

Precinct 3 Employees Continue With The Cleaning Of Streams And Arroyos Within The Precinct

Maverick County Precinct 3 – Employees from Precinct 3 continue with the cleaning of the streams within the precinct. In a few days the Fumigation Campaign will be initiated in an effort to combat mosquito. Commissioner Jose Luis Rosales, encourages residents and owners of vacant lots to keep their yards clean.

The Summer Youth Program At The Seco Mines Community Center Has Begun It's Registrations; Space Is Limited Only 75 Spots Available

Maverick County Precinct 3 – The Seco Mines Community Center Summer Youth Program will be starting soon. Registration will begin today and will be on a first come first serve basis with only 75 spots available. Make sure you register your child as soon as possible. Your child will have access to cable tv, swimming, splash pad, outside sports, arts & crafts, table games, field trips and a computer lab. The Seco Mines Community Center Will be Hosting A Free Legal Clinic For The Community

Maverick County Precinct 3 - Student Attorneys from the Center for Legal and Social Justice will be offering advice on your legal issues. This legal clinic will take place at the Seco Mines Community Center on Saturday June 8, 2013, from 11am - 2pm. Bring any supporting documents dealing with your case. This advice is absolutely free. Some of the legal areas we will be offering advice in are Social Security, IRS/Tax Issues, Identity Theft, Debt Collection, and Consumer Issues. Employees From Precinct 3 Have Started A Campaign To Clean Up Streams Throughout The Precinct

Maverick County Precinct 3 – Employees from Precinct 3 have started a campaign to clean up streams in the area. This campaign will prevent flooding in the rainy season and at the same time reduce the creation of mosquito that can cause harmful diseases to our residents. Commissioner Rosales encourages the community to help us keep our streams clean and keep from throwing trash in them. Maverick County Precinct 3 – Jose Luis Rosales was officially sworn in Tuesday January 1, 2013 as Maverick County Commissioner for Precinct 3. A ceremony was held at the Maverick County Old Courthouse. Mr. Rosales accompanied by his family, wife, sons, and parents took the oath of office administered by 365th District Court Honorable Judge Amado Abascal.
Rosales originally took office in January 2011 on an unexpired term replacing Commissioner Pct. 3 Rodolfo Benavides and was then re-elected in May 2012 for a full 4 year term, defeating both candidates Jose Moreno and Luchia Johnson. Commissioner Rosales is ready once more to serve the residents of Maverick County and continues to maintain an open door policy for all who wish to visit his office located in Deer Run subdivision. Maverick County Precinct 3 – Great turnout from the public for a bike race held this past Sunday, December 2nd at Thompson Road FM 1588 north of Eagle Pass. The race initiated at 9am and concluded at about 1:00 pm with awards handed out to all young participants ages 7 - 12 as well as adult riders. We would like to thank all local sponsors for making this event possible, Ernesto Cumpian, TRY Sports Club, MT&B, Blackstonians, Axolote.com.mx and Precinct 3 Commissioner Jose Luis Rosales. This event is an effort to promote local youth activities and get our community involved and active. Radar Base Residential Properties Continue To Undergo A Major Cleanup Campaign

Maverick County Precinct 3 – The Radar Base located in precinct 3 is currently undergoing a major cleanup campaign. Precinct 3 workers were present throughout the area focusing on residential properties, picking up brush, cutting high weeds, and cleaning the entire area in general. Commissioner Rosales stated once again the importance on keeping this area clean and to help alleviate the problem with harmful and dangerous animals like snakes that live in these types of environments. The Maverick County Water Plant Is Officially Off The Water Boil Notice And Has Met All State Requirements

Maverick County Precinct 3 – Commissioner for Precinct 3 Jose Luis Rosales informs all Maverick County Water Works Clients that as of the Month of October the residual has been at the acceptable level the state requires. During the week of October 24, 2012 the county water plant sent a sample of water to a state approval laboratory and we can now officially with proof in hand inform our residents that the water coming from the water plant is safe to drink. Over 50 Residents Attended The Rabies Vaccine Clinic That Was Held Last Week In Deer Run

Maverick County Precinct 3 – Over 50 residents attended the rabies vaccine clinic in deer run last saturday. Commissioner Rosales like always continuing his ongoing efforts in the fight againsts rabies and stressing the importance of vaccinating all pets to prevent diseases. Maria Garza employee for precinct 3 commented that this clinic was indeed successful with a constant turnout and participation from the residents throughout the day. Just a reminder to all residents living in the Quemado, Normandy, and Radar Base areas, that another vaccine clinic will be held on Saturday November 10, 2012 at the Quemado Community House starting at 9:00 am. Precinct 3 Cleanup Campaign Is Scheduled To Start On October 22, 2012

Maverick County Precinct 3 - Brush/Bulky item collection will begin soon in your neighborhood. A notice will be delivered to your residence. Upon receiving this notice, you may begin placing items at the curb for collection. All items must be placed at the curb no later than 7:00 a.m. Monday, October 22, 2012 the day of the collection. Remember that crews will pass by your house only once. We urge you not to take out any brush before or after the cleanup campaign dates as citations will be given by Maverick County Code Enforecment officer. If you reside within the city limits of precinct 3 and you have brush to be picked up, you can call the office at 773-1716 to schedule the pickup. Maverick County Precinct 3 –  Maverick County Precinct 3 is working together with the USDA Rural Development Program on providing a better quality of life to our residents. The USDA program assistance is available and offered to low-income families in precinct 3. There are several issues that the USDA can assists the residents with. Some of the areas that they assist in are 1% interest rates on home improvements, improvements under health & hazards, payment adjustments according to income, and many more. The Kid's Cafe Ribbon Cutting Ceremony Takes Place At The Seco Mines Community Center

Maverick County Precinct 3 – The inauguration and ribbon cutting ceremony for the Kid's Cafe program took place this past tuesday at the Seco Mines Community Center. The ceremony was led by Maverick County Judge David Saucedo, Precinct 3 Commissioner Jose Luis Rosales, and center director David Lopez. This newly adopted program in Maverick County will provide a well prepared nutritious daily meal to nearly 50 students after school.

The South Texas Food Bank Kid's Cafe Is Here And Will Be Starting In A Few Days At The Seco Mines Community Center
