Maverick County Precinct 3 – Great turnout from the public for a bike race held this past Sunday, December 2nd at Thompson Road FM 1588 north of Eagle Pass. The race initiated at 9am and concluded at about 1:00 pm with awards handed out to all young participants ages 7 - 12 as well as adult riders. We would like to thank all local sponsors for making this event possible, Ernesto Cumpian, TRY Sports Club, MT&B, Blackstonians, Axolote.com.mx and Precinct 3 Commissioner Jose Luis Rosales. This event is an effort to promote local youth activities and get our community involved and active. Commissioner Rosales is looking foward to having a second bike race in the near future and invites the entire community to participate in this wonderful sport that also promotes a healthier well being.
