Quemado And Normandy Residents Unite In Celebration Of 4th Of July

Maverick County Precinct 3 - In support and honor of our great nation, Quemado and Normandy area residents came together for a 4th of July celebration. The celebration took place in the community of Quemado, TX where the residents began a march from the community center to the park where the public participated by horseback, bike, on foot, and in vehicles. The festivities continued with an honoring of the U.S. flag and a speech by special guest Commissioner Precinct 3 Jose Luis Rosales, who gave a few words on 4th of July celebration. The celebration continued for a couple of hours with a picnic, music, and free food.
