Maverick County Precinct 3 - Commissioner Rosales informs the public that the canal at the Maverick County Water District has suffered a major breakage at the main canal, the upper retaining wall has washed out completely, and therefore the county is forced to notify our residents that they are to use the water for human consumption only. NO irrigation, watering of lawns, washing of vehicles etc…until further notice. Inspections will be done and citations will be issued. No Exceptions The County and Maverick County Water District are looking for resources to supply the water plant for treatment and distribution.
