Maverick County Precinct 3 – On July 24, 2012, Maverick County Judge David Saucedo and County Commissioner Jose Luis Rosales visited with USDA Area Specialist Mr. Jaime Maldonado to sign the letter of conditions for a total funding of $3,135,000 to start a project called Water Plant Expansion. From the total funding, $1,107,000 will be a grant and the remaining $2,028,000 wil be a loan that will be repaid in a term of no more than 40 years. With the water plant expansion, the County will be able to meet the demand of potable water for the residents of Airport, Radar Base, Normandy, and Quemado.
