Maverick County Precinct 3 Continues To Keep Our Neighborhoods Clean With A Back To School Cleanup Campaign

Maverick County Precinct 3 – Commissioner Jose Luis Rosales will be working closely together this month with Road & Bridge Director Apolonio Rodriguez and the County Code Enforcement on keeping our neighborhoods clean with a Back To School Cleanup Campaign. The public is advised that all property owners that own a vacant or abandoned lot are highly encouraged to cut all high weeds and grass on their property as soon as possible, to avoid further fines and citations from the Maverick County Code Enforcement officer. Code Enforcement will be inspecting all vacant and abandoned lots throught out the month and will be issuing citations to those owners that are not in compliance with state laws. Proper maintenance of these lots will help alleviate snakes and other poisonous animals that can be dangerous to our residents especially to students walking to and from school. Lets help keep our neighborhoods clean now and avoid the unneccesary fines. For more information or to schedule an interview with Commissioner Jose Luis Rosales, please call the Maverick County Precinct 3 Administration Office at 830-773-1716.
