Maverick County Environmental And Health Association Visited With Residents In Quemado Texas

Maverick County Precinct 3 – The Maverick County Environmental & Health Association recently visited Quemado, Texas. A meeting was held in Quemado for all residents. The topics discussed, were the possible opening of a coal mine in Eagle Pass by Dos Republicas. Residents of Quemado were made aware of the dangers and health hazzards involved in coal mining. The association urges the Quemado residents to help and unite for the opposition of this coal mine. All residents are invited to attend theses public health meetings as they provide very important and useful information on the current coal mine hearings.
