Vaccine Clinic was held at the Precinct 3 office

Maverick County Precinct 3 – In an effort to secure the health of our pets, Commissioner Rosales and local Veterinarian Dr. Claudia Torres held a Vaccine Clinic at the Deer Run office for those residents who wish to have their animals immunized from Rabbies, Parvo, and other dangerous pet diseases. The turnout for this clinic was a great one more than expected. We had a steady attendance of residents says Frank Benavides a precinct 3 employee. I didnt expect a big outcome considering the distance and location where the deer run office lies, but to our suprise it turned out to be a great event. Precinct 3 plans to have more Vaccine Clinics to help out the community. Mr. Rosales was very pleased on the participation from the community and informed us that in just a few weeks another clinic will take place in Quemado, TX as well. Special pricing is given to the residents during these clinics, therefore it is recommended that the public comes and takes advantage of this wonderful service. Keeping It Clean ! Radar Base an area of focus for Commissioner Rosales

Maverick County Precinct 3 – The Radar Base located in precicnt 3 has been another area of great focus for Commissioner Jose Luis Rosales. TX Dot employees of Maverick County Precinct 3 have paved the roads in this area and managed to remove and old abandoned building from the premises in an effort to beautify and cleanup the precinct in its entire. Mr. Rosales stated Radar Base in area that is located at a far distance from the city and definitely has not been forgotten, I want to change the Radar Base and make it an interesting spot for the community says Rosales. What we are doing, is keeping everything clean and presentable. I want this precinct to look at its very best says Rosales. Major Cleanup taking place at the banks of the Elm Creek

Maverick County Precinct 3 – The precint offices notified us that they have succesfully completed a cleanup of the banks of the Elm Creek which is part of a major cleanup campaign taking place throughout the precicnt. Elm Creek is located next to the flea markets on North Hwy 277. Elm Creek is a recreational and considered to most a popular retreat for the youth, families and the community to enjoy a nice afternoon of family picnics, cookouts, and fishing. Commissioner Rosales wants to bring back this attraction and beautify its environment. Mr. Rosales stated we are going to give Elm Creek a face lift and my goal is to attract families and children to this location once again. When we are finished this will be a great location for family recreational fun. Future plans are in store for Elm Creek as we anticipate more monies will become available to the precinct.
